NEIGHBOUR 2018

Neighbour is our signature red blend from five different South Okanagan plots. Each varietal was wild-fermented using only native yeasts found in the air and on the grapes.

Just as you might expect from a slightly odd neighbour and winemaker, this classic French blend has a little bit of Spain in it... with a 2% addition of Tempranillo.

The nose is loaded with blackberry, leather, plum, and black currant. It has an assertiveness in its youth, with great tannins and rounded oak that will continue to evolve nicely – if you choose to lay it down.

HAZE 2021 (1x)

Haze is an ever changing blend, this year featuring Kerner, a winter-hardy German hybrid bringing aromatics and bright acidity to the party. The other varieties were left on skins for 5-7 days, adding complexity, texture, and flashbacks of zesty lime margaritas.

ORANGE No 3  2021 (1x) 

It's back!  Our signature, wild fermented blend of Gewürztraminer and Muscat spent 19 days on skins, with a new friend added - Kerner. You'll get those familiar bursts of textured mango, jasmine, and orange peel, with some crispiness contributed by the Kerner.



CHARDONNAY  2019 (1x) 

A citrine coloured gem with a rich nose of toasted praline, and on the palate you’ll find notes of lemon-curd pastry, juicy grilled pineapple, and hints of clove. The texture is thick and silky with a dry, lingering finish – and at 14 months in 40% new oak you might expect it to be a bit heavy, but the cooler climate sites these grapes came from contribute bright acidity that really balances this beauty out.

Around 60% was wild-fermented using only native yeasts found in the air and on the grapes themselves, while the rest received a specific French strain of yeast that seems to really excite our winemaker...

CAB  2019  (1x)  

Our first 100% Cab Sauv release is ready and tasting magical, with classic dark fruit, tobacco, and cedar notes that remind us of the holidays 🌲.  Although there's some classic Cab notes, generally speaking this is not your classic Cab ... which you might have already guessed. It's brighter, livelier, and quite different than other Okanagan Cabs we've tried.  

Coming from a single plot near Oliver, it spent 14 months in 40% new French oak and mellowed in bottle for another 8 months. It can could be cellared over the next 4+ years.

Along with our 2019 Tempranillo, this is the first wine we've ever fined - gently softening the tannins in barrel by using a traditional French egg-white fining process. The eggs were sourced from our winemaker's own chickens that roam his vineyard. Similar to other fining methods used by almost every other winery, the egg-white is 'racked' out and does not end up in the bottle.

For those missing our Tempranillo Rose, here's where the juice went... 

We're stoked to be able share this very limited release with y'all. Grown in Kevin's own vineyard in Kaleden, our Tempranillo spent 14 months in neutral oak. A true expression of this Spanish variety - you'll find earthy notes of rosemary, fig-leather, and black cherry jam – and very dry @ 2.72 g/L
