Neighbour is a red blend with a bit of Spanish flare. Wild fermented, unfined / unfiltered, and with a 16 month rest in mostly neutral oak – this wine really lets the fruit really shine through. We used grapes from 5 different plots, and barrel fermented separately before building the perfect red blend. 

Cab Sauv dominant, this wine brings dark, jammy blackberry base notes with balanced acidity from the cool-climate Merlot and a touch of earthiness from the Kaleden Tempranillo.

This luscious golden blend of Viognier and Chardonnay has notes of ripe apricot and honeysuckle, with a powerful body that's been enhanced by light battonage during it's 16 months in barrel. The long lasting and weighty mouthfeel can be summed up in one word - THICK!

IT'S NICE  2022 (1x) 

Coming almost entirely from the winemaker (Kevin's) own vineyard, all the varieties in ‘It’s Nice’ were cold macerated on skins between 3-6 days, pressed, and transferred to neutral oak barrels to start their fermentation. 

With prominent lychee-citrus notes from the Sauv Blanc, florals from the Muscat, and body from the Chard, we think you’ll agree - it’s nice!

CAB  2020  (1x)  

A fresher take on Cab :  it's bright, juicy, and dry with classic cab notes of dark fruit and earthy leather. The palate offers flavours of cooked fig and fennel seed with a soft baking spice finish. The tannins are refined, silky, and not overpowering - letting the grapes characteristics really shine through.   

Coming from a single plot near Oliver, it spent 16 months in French oak of varying age: with some new + 2 year old barrels, and the rest in neutral. It has rested in bottle for a year prior to this release (March 2023).

It's tasting fantastic now, but we think it will cellar well until 2027+

PINOT NOIR  2021  (1x)

Light. Neutral Oak. Chilled summer red.

After 4 years of wanting to make a Pinot, and passing on vintages where the grapes weren't good enough, or there was smoke, or we actually couldn't get our hands on any - we've made one to be proud of. The grapes for this delicate yet complex wine came from a cooler lakeside site near our winemaker's home in Kaleden.

This is a very light, delicate Pinot, with bright notes of cassis and cherry shining through. Complex earthy undertones are supported by a long 16 month rest in mostly neutral French Oak.  We couldn't be happier with this one 👌

TEMPRANILLO  2021 (1x)  

Juicy. Dry. Bright. 

Coming from our winemaker’s East-SE facing plot in Kaleden, this Tempranillo was wild-fermented and remains unfiltered. Okanagan Tempranillo is on the rare side, and we only produce a few barrels each vintage. You'll find notes of ripe raspberry, cacao and sage. 

It's beautifully dry with nice acidity, medium bodied, and it spent 16 months resting in neutral French oak.
